The Henry Beaufort School is thrilled to announce the completion of Phase One of our Science Block refurbishment. This significant milestone marks the beginning of an exciting transformation for our 50 year old building, made possible by a generous £3.48m investment from the local authority. The refurbishment includes new cladding and insulation, which will help reduce our carbon footprint.

Our state-of-the-art science laboratories are now open, and from Wednesday, 5th February, students have been enjoying hands-on practical lessons in these newly upgraded spaces. The labs provide an enhanced learning environment, allowing students to explore scientific concepts with improved resources and equipment.

With Phase One successfully completed, Phase Two is now underway. We look forward to the full refurbishment being finished by June 2025, when our entire Science Block will be transformed into a cutting edge facility for our students and staff.
