Our School

Our School

At The Henry Beaufort School, we share an inclusive ethos which focuses on challenge, enjoyment and success for all.

Our core values are centred on independent learning. Our students are resilient learners who take pride in being confident, articulate young citizens. Our unique learning ethos and the impact it has on progress and attainment, has been recognised at national level with publication in the Parliamentary Review for Education.

The Henry Beaufort School Vision

At The Henry Beaufort School, there are no limitations to success.  We are ambitious for all of our students. Our school is proud of its tradition as an inclusive comprehensive school where students are happy.

We celebrate the success of our students at every opportunity. We place great value on our cultural enrichment programme and take delight in the buzz and energy around the school site well beyond the official ending of the school day.

We value the fundamental role that we play in the academic and moral education of young people. We understand the challenges that accompany our role as educationalists and we continue to work to find ways to refine and improve our practice. This is underpinned by our aim to be outstanding in everything we do.

Our values are centred on Pride, Happiness and Ambition.

HEADTEACHER'S WELCOME

I am so proud and privileged to be the Headteacher of The Henry Beaufort School. It is the fulfilment of a lifetime’s career in teaching made rich by the young people and colleagues I have the pleasure of working amongst.

The young people of our school both humble and inspire me every day of my working life. Our school is a stimulating, creative and dynamic place for children to learn, where they are encouraged to try new activities and adventures that stretch and challenge their academic learning and their social awareness.

The curriculum at The Henry Beaufort School combines the traditional with the dynamic and innovative. Our personalised learning pathways ensure that students choose from a broad and balanced curriculum designed to guarantee access to higher education and the modern workplace.
